Message from the AFTE Board of Trustees

Posted on : January 15, 2019

For 42 years AFTE has sought to support and encourage scholars who are committed to the renewal of the church. Now there are more than 165 John Wesley and Denman Fellows teaching in colleges, universities, seminaries, serving in the local church, philanthropy and other organizations. The John Wesley Fellowship is guided by the historical biblical tenets of the Christian faith and the Wesleyan tradition.

The John Wesley Fellowship has not endorsed any of the plans being considered at the special General Conference of The United Methodist Church. We encourage all Fellows to join others throughout the church seeking to discern the way forward that will serve individuals, families and churches around the world as we seek to make faithful disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
